The Montefiore Institute is the electricity, electronics and IT department of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Liège. It is active in a range of basic and applied research topics in various fields: information and communication technologies, computer science, electronics, power systems and mathematical applications.
Facilities and equipment
INTELSIG is interested in the acquisition, processing and exploitation of signals produced in various contexts and applications.
Examples of signals of interest are acoustic signals, static images, video sequences, radar signals, radar images, space-time radar signals and medical images. Examples of interesting applications are the prediction of acoustic characteristics in architectural design, video surveillance, automatic analysis of sports television broadcasts, adaptive space-time radar processing and image-guided surgery.
