HRS4R | Governance
The HRS4R strategy at ULiège is steered by a multi-disciplinary HR Commission, in direct contact with academic bodies, which ensures overall monitoring of the approach, strategic validation and anchoring in the university's HR policy .
Composition
- Chairman: Frédéric Schoenaers, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Life
- A wide range of authorities, academics, scientists and administrative staff:Pascal Poncin, Premier Vice-Recteur, Michel Moutschen, Vice-Recteur à la Recherche ; Julien Nicaise, Administrateur de l'Université de Liège ; Isabelle Hansez, François Pichault, Giseline Rondeaux, Véronique Boveroux,Catherine Delguste, Martine Evraud, Linda Agro, Anne Goffin, Valérie Mélotte, Lambriny Philis, Véronique Larosa, Christophe Breuer and Didier Mattivi.
For each pillar of the strategy, several thematic working groups are active. An integrator is responsible for ensuring overall coherence, relaying information and monitoring the work carried out by these different groups:
- Pillar 1: Véronique Boveroux,
- Pillar 2: Evelyne Goujon, supported by her team of assistants.
- Pillar 3: Christophe Breuer,
- Pillar 4: Evelyne Favart.
Cross-functional coordination is provided by Véronique Larosa, designated as integrator of integrators, with the task of ensuring the link between the institutional working groups and the four pillars of the strategy.
Some examples of institutional working groups:
- CEIS, Conseil genre, GT Open Science,
- HR sub-committee for scientific staff, GT research reputation,
- Conseil universitaire de la formation doctorale et du doctorat (CUFDD) - in association with ReD
The groups meet once or twice a year, or more if necessary. They monitor the implementation of actions, keep track of indicators, evaluate progress and propose any necessary adjustments based on feedback from the field.
One of the strengths of the HRS4R approach at ULiège lies in the direct involvement of researchers in the committees and working groups. All bodies are represented and actively participate in the reflection process, through surveys, feedback or collective contributions.
