Description Through presentations, round-table discussions and participatory workshops, this seminar will address various topics useful when starting a research project: mobility, living and working at ULiège, ethics, funding, research tools, project management, communication, supervision… Objectives This three-day training is designed for new PhDcandidates. It aims to give them the keys to make a good start in research! At the end of this introductory training, participants will o have a clear idea of the steps and requirements of a PhD, the research environment at the University of Liège (structures, contact persons, training opportunities...), mobility, funding and career opportunities... o Reflect on the organisation of one's thesis o Create a first network of peers Acquired skills Get the keys to make a good start in research!
