Publications

At the University of Liège, all scientific publications of researchers are accessible through the ORBi tool, which maps today more than 150,000 scientific references (of which 1/3 in Open Access) accessible to all.

he mandatory deposit mandate adopted by the University made possible the success of ORBi.  The ULiège Board of Directors decided on 23 May 2007 to make mandatory the submittal of the references of all publications from members of ULiège since 2002 and the deposit of the entire electronic version of all articles published by the members of ULiège since 2002.

Since 2014, all the references of publications from ULiège authors must be submitted to ORBi.

Thanks to the referencing work of ORBi, the publications which have been deposited on it are largely visible and relayed on different dissemination tools. In the ranking of institutional repositories, ORBi remains each year in a very good position and the number one IR in French-speaking Belgium!
