Laetitia DELREZ

Laetitia Delrez, researcher at the STAR and ASTROBIOLOGY research units is the winner of the Paul & Marie Stroobant Prize 2019. This prize, awarded by the class of sciences of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium, underlines the interest and quality of the studies of a scientist in the fields of observational or theoretical astronomy.

Denis Defrère, astrophysicist at the PSILab (STAR Research Institute/Faculty of Science) and research engineer at the Centre Spatial de Liège (CSL), is among the winners of the "Group Achievement Award" awarded by NASA.

Benjamin G.DEWALS

Benjamin G. Dewals, a F.R.S.-FNRS Research Associate at the FARAH Research Unit (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) is the winner of the biennial Princess Josephine Charlotte 2019 Study Centre Award. This prize rewards the scientist's research in the field of viral infections and more particularly in the study of host-pathogen interactions during infections - notably - by gammaherpesviruses.
