he mission of the Research and Innovation Department is to monitor the calls for projects in the Walloon Region regardless of their nature (calls managed by the six competitive clusters, thematic calls, etc.) and to help in the set-up of consortiums.

The Research and Innovation Department makes it possible, depending on needs, to seek out partners, laboratories or companies which may have complementarity in the project.

Under the consortium agreements, the Research department helps the "Exploitation of results" component, making sure to preserve the future of the research team and by granting to companies what they need to operate. The finalisation of the consortium agreements is done with the support of the legal department.
