Inflammatory Bowel Disease: genetics paving the way for new treatments  

A study published by the Unit of Animal Genomics combines blood and gut transcriptomic analyses to gain a better understanding of inflammatory bowel disease and identifies more than 300 new candidate genes associated with these conditions.
