The ULiège final of the Ma Thèse en 180 secondes (MT180) competition will take place on Wednesday, April 1, in the Exèdre room at Sart Tilman – B8. Eleven doctoral students from all research fields have set themselves the goal of explaining their thesis topics in a simplified and captivating way in just three minutes!
The "My thesis in 180 seconds" competition aims to inform the general public about the richness and interest of scientific research, while developing PhD students' communication skills with the general public.
In three minutes, each participant presents a clear, concise and convincing popularization of their thesis in French, using just one slide! Participants use their communication skills and creativity to share the richness and interest of their scientific research with the public.
11 people are participating this year:
This year, the jury will select two candidates, but it will be the audience, present on April1 at the Salle de l'Exèdre, who will choose the third winner via a live vote. Together, the three winners will represent ULiège in the Belgian final on May 12 in Gembloux.
This final at La Grand Poste is open to the public, free of charge (limited number of places - booking essential).
