The My Thesis in 180 Seconds competition offers you a unique opportunity to share your research with a wide audience, while honing your scientific communication and popularization skills.

The concept
In exactly three minutes, you must present your thesis topic in French in a clear, concise, and convincing manner, with the support of a single slide. The goal is to captivate a diverse audience while highlighting the interest and richness of your research.
This competition, organized by the universities of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, promotes the diversity and impact of research conducted by doctoral students. It is open to doctoral students currently enrolled in a doctoral program, as well as to doctoral graduates from the previous academic year.

- "Training course: 'Convincing in 180 seconds': A two-day training course is offered to candidates selected for the local final to help them refine their presentation and master the art of public speaking.

- Local final at ULiège: April 1, 2026, in the Exèdre room (B8) at 5:30 p.m. The winners will represent ULiège in the inter-university final.
- Inter-university final: May 12, 2026 at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, University of Liège.
