ver the course of their studies or their career as researchers or academics, many students, scientists and professors are rewarded both by Belgian and international organisations. Outstanding contributions, performances which stand out from the rest, team participation in competitions: there are many opportunities in academia to win distinctions or financing scholarships to start or continue research work.
The University of Liège, a breeding ground of knowledge and emulation, is proud of these many talents.
The Fondation Francqui awards the Prix Francqui, a prestigious distinction for Belgian researchers. It also awards Chaires Francqui, which offers Belgian universities the opportunity to invite a professor from another Belgian university, thus promoting collaboration and academic exchange.
ERC Grants are major instruments deployed by the European Research Council to fund research projects in Europe.
