TOWARDS INNOVATION, INVENTION AND PATENTABILITY Objective A patent is an exclusive right granted for an invention, a product or process that provides a new way of doing things, or that offers a new technical solution to a problem. This participative seminar will be of advanced level, for those who already have notion of IP and patents. We will go deeper into the different patentability criteria and the particular cases, such as biotechnology. Description The requirements for patentability will be discussed as well as the structure of patent claims. Practical examples in different field of technology will be presented.
