A git workflow for small teams in a scientific context is also presented. Description Source Code Version Control is probably the most important practice (after writing the code itself of course) that a developer shall perform on a daily basis. Git is the most widely used, free and open-source version control software. Type: workshop It's expected that people come with their laptop with git already installed. A document explaining how to install Git will be provided upfront.
